As part of
our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
- You implement, administer, and monitor IT systems and services within hybrid infrastructures (on‑premises, multi‑cloud, and hybrid cloud environments), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services as well as their integration and Infrastructure as Code, for example using Terraform, with a strong focus on cyber recovery.
- You analyze and resolve incidents in 2nd- and 3rd-level support, placing particular emphasis on cyber recovery scenarios.
- You continuously develop existing systems and services to improve performance, reduce costs, and minimize risks, including through the use of automation and AI.
- You ensure smooth system operations as well as correct and efficient licensing within the scope of lifecycle management.
- You manage and control external partners and service providers in close coordination with your manager and support market analyses for the selection and evaluation of hardware, software, and IT services.
- You contribute to the development of concepts and implement these concepts in solutions related to cyber recovery and business continuity.
- You support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects and business sub-projects during the implementation, testing, and rollout phases.
- You participate in advising business departments on projects and changes to IT services, systems, and applications, particularly with a focus on cyber recovery and continuity management.
- You create and maintain the necessary documentation for operations and support, especially for cyber recovery processes.
- You support the continuous analysis of process improvements as well as efficient interface and automation solutions, and evaluate and implement them.
- You have solid professional experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, AvePoint, or Rubrik in hybrid IT environments.
- You bring very strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, especially M365, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange, and SharePoint.
- You have in-depth expertise in cyber recovery and in restoring systems after cyberattacks.
- You also have experience in IT Service Continuity Management and Business Continuity Management.
- You have practical experience in infrastructure automation, for example using Terraform.
- Ideally, you have experience using AI-based solutions for system and process optimization.
You work analytically, in a structured and self-driven manner, and maintain oversight even in critical situations. - You stand out through strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
