Your prospective job:
For our renown client Airbus you act as Development Engineer (m/f/d) Flight Control at the location Donauwörth.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the full product life cycle, considering function, weight, cost, certification, manufacturability and maintainability
- Design and integrate flight control, hydraulic and actuation systems using CATIA V5
- Apply expertise in metallic materials, manufacturing processes and surface treatments for flight‑control kinematics
- Integrate systems into the helicopter and coordinate all related interfaces
- Conduct assembly and integration studies; create detailed designs and production documents in CATIA V5/VPM
- Perform kinematic analyses for control paths, tolerances and rigging
- Approve design and production documentation in SAP or Windchill
- Contribute to design, qualification, certification and maintenance documentation
- Update existing design and manufacturing documents for improvements and obsolescence management
- Support continued airworthiness activities
- Collaborate closely with airframe, avionics, autopilot, flight physics, structural analysis, final assembly, customer support and flight test teams
- Work effectively in an international environment with strong German–French cooperation
- Coordinate with suppliers for development, qualification, testing, series support, obsolescence resolution and flight safety
Your profile:
- Completed bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
- Knowledge in the field of materials, technologies and specialised development methods
- Professional experience in Design Engineering, Manufacturing, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering and maintenance documentation
- Good knowledge of SAP, Catia V5, vpm and Windchill
- High proficiency in English and advanced German, both written and spoken
