Your prospective job:
For our customer Airbus Operations you are acting as a Digital Product & Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) at the location Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to and articulate the digital product strategy, ensuring all initiatives align with overarching business objectives
- Manage the end-to-end digital product portfolio lifecycle, from ideation and prioritization to delivery, optimization and retirement
- Facilitate the intake and prioritization of new digital demands working with stakeholders to define scope, business value, and preliminary requirements
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, tracking key metrics, ROI (Return on Investment), and progress against strategic goals
- Identify and proactively manage portfolio-level risks and dependencies, ensuring cohesive execution across digital initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the primary Product Owners to understand the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for individual products within the portfolio
- Own and refine individual product backlogs, ensuring user stories are clearly defined, detailed with acceptance criteria, and prioritized based on business value and strategic alignment
- Serve as the primary liaison for the development team, clarifying requirements, answering questions, and providing necessary context during sprint planning and execution
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to ensure the development team understands product goals and impediments are addressed
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and other stakeholders, through workshop facilitation, presentations and marketplace
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to ensure delivered features meet quality standards and user needs
- Bridge the gap between strategic business objectives and tactical development efforts, ensuring seamless flow of information and decision-making
Your profile:
- Completed studies in Engineering, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience in IT / Information Systems, Product Development, Project Management and Data Analysis
- Work experience in Engineering and Manufacturing / Production
- Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
- Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Good knowledge of Change Management
- Knowledge of Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Docs)
- Experience with Python, Apps Script, and Palantir technologies is an advantage
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
- German and French skills are an advantage
