- Preparation of test specifications for engine and rig testing. Oversight and support during experimental execution, real-time validation of results, interpretation and comparison with analytical or empirical models
- Assessment of complex technical data from multiple sources. Application of engineering knowledge and judgment to derive effective and informed solutions
- Delivery of technical outputs aligned with program milestones. Ensuring adherence to schedule, budget and quality targets
- Serving as a technical point of contact within a discipline. Advising internal and external stakeholders, representing senior engineering leadership, and mentoring peers on authoritative matters
- Business Awareness and Professional Responsibility: Clear understanding of organizational goals and aligning engineering activities accordingly. Commitment to company values and professional engineering standards
- Actively driving enhancements in tools, processes and methods. Promoting improvement initiatives within and beyond own team environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent regional qualification)
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical design principles and cross-disciplinary concepts such as manufacturing processes, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, cost engineering, and product definition
- Proven experience in mechanical integrity with knowledge of manufacturing engineering, hydrodynamics, stress analysis (static and dynamic), fracture and fatigue mechanics, and cost engineering. Involvement in project/change management, concept design, final design verification, manufacturing support, and system integration
- Demonstrated ability to apply logical, analytical, and creative thinking to technical challenges and balance decisions across technical and commercial dimensions
- Understanding of product integrity, liability, and certification standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
