Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Innovation & Development Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Aerostructures in Standort Stade.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting local composite R&T team (trials follow up at shopfloor)
• Planning, steering and reporting Composites Industrial technology R&T activities within the ME (Manufacturing Engineering) Community
• Setting up a roadmap to deliver the technological solutions for industrial applications
• Ensuring harmonized ME Principles, best-in-class and up-to-date practices
• Delivering mature solutions to develop new products
• Working in the development of new tool designs as well as new and innovative composite manufacturing processes
• Defining and managing execution of composite technology developments including composite automation and monitoring processes for future CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) parts
• Organization of project progress reviews and generation of associated reporting and action plan
• Management of risks inside the projects

Your profile:

• Completed studies in engineering, aerospace, industrial engineering, composites or comparable
• Work experience in construction, manufacturing engineering and composite materials
• First experience in project management
• Good knowledge of risk management
• Knowledge of AI and data analysis is an advantage
• Fluent English and good German, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel (probably once every three months within Europe)
