Your Tasks
- Technical sales support regarding the electrical execution of KHS lines and machines.
- Preparation of a costumer related ETS.
- Technical support regarding the electrical execution of KHS scope of delivery.
- Manage technical clarification meetings regarding the electrical execution of the KHS scope of delivery with the costumer.
- Participation C-Gate Meeting.
- Preparation of the order related ETS.
- Electrical engineering of the Wire ways in the Order Processing Layout (OPL).
- Clarification of Quality issues regarding the electrical installation.
- Follows KHS USA processes and procedures to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications; integrates American and European standards.
- Interacts with production to verify and test equipment; provides technical assistance and support to sales, service, and purchasing as directed; supports parts sales by identifying correct replacement parts.
- Prior to shipment, verifies performance of equipment to meet customer needs.
- Troubleshoots performance issues in the field with field service and the customer’s technical representatives; analyzes KHS components, determines if equipment is functioning properly; takes action when needed to ensure proper functioning.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of electrical engineering.
- Good knowledge of machine interfaces.
- Good knowledge of common interface standard e.g. Weihenstephan, OMAC.
- Good knowledge of the relevant electrical UL and Canadian Norms and regulations.
- Confident demeanor in negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of electrical European Norms and regulation is preferred.
- At least three years’ experience in engineering processing equipment in a food or beverage packaging/processing environment; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mastery of MS Office applications. Experience in SAP and Reqman is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency within reasonable period of time in KHS USA ERP system.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Valid Passport and driver’s license are required.
