Senior payroll professional (m/f/d)

• Perform advanced payroll validation and manage complex payroll scenarios across multiple countries
• Review and validate new hire, absence, leave, and termination data before payroll processing
• Ensure statutory termination documentation is prepared and delivered in compliance with legal requirements
• Act as a subject matter expert for payroll processes and escalations
• Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews
• Develop and maintain payroll controls, process documentation, and SOPs
• Monitor payroll KPIs and create analytical reports for leadership
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
• Support payroll projects, system upgrades, and vendor transitions
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external payroll providers
• Mentor and support junior payroll team members

• Extensive payroll experience in an international and multi-country environment
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and internal controls
• Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and process optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage priorities independently and engage with stakeholders at different levels
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and advanced Excel
• Payroll system: Mazars
• Fluent English communication skills
