Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as Buyer (m/f/d) for Cabin Procurement Galleys and Catering Equipment in Hamburg / Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the sourcing activity
• Manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements
• Monitor the contract with suppliers and company stakeholders to achieve a complete application of terms and conditions
• Ensure that suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost)
• Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks
• Collaborate in Multifunctional and Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Management or comparable
• Professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain / Logistics, Supplier Management, and Contract Management
• Airbus experience is an advantage
• Advanced skills in MS-Office, SAP and Google Workspace
• Fluent English skills spoken and written
• German skills would be a plus
• Willingness to travel (1-2 times per year)
