- Perform strength, durability, life assessment, and integrity evaluations for rotating critical engine components
- Conduct thermo-mechanical Finite Element Method (FEM) analyses to assess stress distributions, structural behaviour, and component performance
- Define, plan, and support engine and component testing activities to demonstrate product life, integrity, and compliance requirements
- Support fleet management activities and contribute to in-service investigations of critical components and operational events
- Prepare technical qualification, certification, and compliance reports
- Assess component deviations and provide robust engineering solutions and recommendations
- Contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of advanced stress analysis and lifing methodologies
- Support Research & Technology (R&T) programmes focused on next-generation propulsion technologies and engineering solutions
- Plan and manage technical work packages, monitor progress, identify risks, and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Proven experience in structural analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM), including the setup, execution, and interpretation of simulation results
- Strong background in solid mechanics, stress analysis, fatigue assessment, and structural integrity evaluations
- Experience with critical parts lifing (CPL), durability assessments, and highly loaded component analysis is highly desirable
- Knowledge of component life assessment and certification methodologies is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
- Experience working within the aerospace, aero-engine, automotive, or other highly regulated engineering industries
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and external work packages
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered an advantage
