•English communication (read, writing and speaking) as SUSS is an international company with English as the main language inside the company
•Working in a team
•Degree in mechanics, electronic, electric or several year experience as a service engineer in the semiconductor industry
•Knowledge of, and an aptitude for working on, mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical control systems
Good to have
•Superior troubleshooting and maintenance skills
•Experience in the semiconductor business
•Plumbing, fluids, welding, and robotics knowledge
•How to use Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and OUTLOOK
Main duties and responsibilities
•Support the installation process of the machines
•Install upgrades for the machines
•Analyze and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical components
•Performing software update if required
•Provide suggestions to product specialist about product improvements
•Must be able to implement required action in case of chemical/electrical fires, accidents, etc.
•Must demonstrate proficiency/ accuracy with the company’s internal processes, for example “RMA process”
•Constant exchange of knowledge and experience with other SUSS sites
•Continuous improvement of the skills by self-study, company training or other education options
•Provide suggestions of optimizing and improving the SUSS Korea internal procedures for a more successful, smoother and efficient daily work
•Training of customers
•Travel domestic and international
•Participates in providing on-call support as requested by management for installed base equipment problems
•Performs other work as assigned or requested during changes in business volume
Additional in case of Senior Service Engineer:
•Responsible for new tool installation for all SUSS PE tools and coordinating the new tool installation team (including regular report to project manager at headquarter) until FAT.
•Support the sales team in matter of technical items
•Prepare reports and agendas for the service meetings with the customer
•Creating TCR (tool change request) of tools to headquarter
•Maintain the OIL (open item lists) presenting the issues to the HQ team members
