As part of our team,
you will take on the following responsibilities:
- As a Marketing Data Analyst, you are a key driver of data-based decision-making within our marketing. You analyze complex data across the entire customer journey, generate meaningful insights, and derive actionable recommendations to optimize our marketing activities. In doing so, you take ownership of reporting structures, ensure high data quality, and continuously develop our analytics landscape.
- You analyze, interpret, and visualize complex marketing, campaign, and customer data (e.g. paid media, website, CRM, sales)
- You design, build, and continuously improve reports, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to steer marketing performance
- You independently evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities (e.g. ROI, CAC, conversion rates, attribution) and derive optimization actions
- You conduct deep-dive analyses (e.g. funnel, cohort, and customer journey analyses) to identify growth opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations for performance marketing, campaign management, and budget allocation
- You take ownership of data quality, tracking logic, and validation of data sources, and collaborate closely with Data Engineering to further develop data models, interfaces, and data warehouse structures
- You design and analyze A/B tests as well as statistical tests to support decision-making
You maintain interfaces within the marketing data warehouse - You leverage AI-based models for segmentation, forecasting, optimization, and personalization of marketing activities
- You collaborate closely with international teams across Sales, eCommerce, Product, Data, and external partners to implement data-driven strategies
- You hold a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Marketing, or a comparable qualification
- You bring several years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, ideally within a marketing or digital environment
- You have strong analytical skills and can translate complex data into clear business insights
- You have solid experience with analytics and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
- You are highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and have experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Tag Manager)
- You are confident working with SQL and ideally have basic knowledge of Python
- You have a strong understanding of marketing KPIs, performance marketing, and digital business models
- You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way with a strong focus on quality
- You are a clear and confident communicator who can present data-driven insights in a way that suits your audience
- You have very good German and English language skills
