Requirements
  • Four-year college degree with a minimum of five years of related professional experience.
    or an associate degree (AA) or equivalent university program certificate with 8–10 years of directly related experience and/or training.
    or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess customer needs, sales performance, and business opportunities.
  • Proven experience in account management, including managing key accounts and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and work closely with internal stakeholders to develop solutions and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of assertiveness and ownership.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level N1.
Qualifications
  • Build and maintain multi-level relationships with customers, closely monitoring changes in customer organizations, business conditions, and expansion plans.
  • Stay fully on top of key accounts and provide timely, comprehensive insights to internal SUSS stakeholders, including business opportunities, competitive landscape, critical technical issues, and customer escalations.
  • Execute account strategies and tactics, prepare commercial proposals, and lead negotiations with customers to successfully close deals.
  • In addition to maintaining recurring business, work closely with R&D and Process Integration teams to identify new opportunities at an early stage and lead cross-functional efforts to penetrate these opportunities.
  • Align the SUSS product roadmap with customer process development to secure mid- to long-term business opportunities.
  • Coordinate tool deliveries between SUSS and customers to meet both parties’ requirements, support new tool acceptance and sign-off, and ensure collection of final payments.
  • Collaborate closely with Application and Service teams to support and resolve critical customer issues.
  • Track customer expansion plans and obtain demand forecasts to regularly update CRM systems.
  • When necessary, communicate with management and operations teams to reserve production slots or initiate manufacturing to meet targeted delivery schedules.
