Technician / Engineer Commissioning (m/f/d) Special Purpose Machinery
Full-time | Immediate Start | Location: Achim, Germany
Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 gross per year (depending on qualifications and experience)
Your Challenge
You bring our highly automated special-purpose machines to life.
From initial power-up to final customer acceptance, you will take technical responsibility for commissioning our systems and ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software. Working with state-of-the-art motion control, vision, and automation technologies, you will ensure that all machine functions operate reliably, safely, and in accordance with technical specifications.
You will analyze complex technical systems, solve electrical and mechanical challenges, and support each machine through to the next project phase.
Your responsibilities:
- Commissioning and parameterization of I/O, vision, and motion control systems
- Configuration and adjustment of machine processes within our in-house control software (PCM)
- Initialization, testing, and optimization of machine functions
- Execution and verification of safety functions
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of complex automation systems
- Analysis and resolution of hardware and software issues
- Performing software, functional, and system tests
- Ensuring machine performance in accordance with technical specifications
- Documentation of results and structured handover to subsequent project phase

Your Profile
- Successfully completed further training as a certified technician or master craftsman, or a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Ideally, initial professional experience in commissioning, automation technology, or special-purpose machinery
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, or drive systems
- Strong technical understanding of complex machinery and mechatronic systems
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for troubleshooting
- German and English language skills, both written and spoken (minimum level B2)
