Director Digital Product Management (gn) Vollzeit/ Teilzeit
Your job at DKV Mobility? As part of a leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payment solutions, you will work in an exciting environment. Our tasks are defined by our Purpose: To drive the transition towards an efficient and sustainable future of mobility. We offer you numerous opportunities to help shape the mobility of tomorrow in a dynamic and agile environment. Our approximately 2,700 employees throughout Europe are united by a common passion: to give their best every day for our customers in more than 50 countries. True to our claim: You drive, we care. Become part of our diverse, dedicated and unique team!
Digital innovation is a central strategic priority for DKV. Our ambition is to significantly expand our digital product development in the coming years and to build a platform that becomes the backbone of European mobility. As Director Digital Product Management, you will own a critical part of our digital value creation: the evolution and scaling of our DKV Cockpit & App products. You operate at the intersection of business, technology, and customer value, ensuring that product strategy, delivery, and team leadership come together to produce measurable results.
- You are responsible for the strategic direction of the product portfolio across product domains. You ensure that product initiatives clearly contribute to business goals, customer value, and sustainable scalability.
- You define and communicate a shared product vision and strategy for your portfolio and translate it into outcome-oriented roadmaps with clear priorities and measurable success metrics such as conversion, checkout efficiency, growth, and platform stability.
- You lead several Product Managers, support their development, and establish clear ownership, decision boundaries, and expectations. Your goal is to build strong, empowered product teams that reliably deliver and take accountability for outcomes.
- You ensure that delivery across teams, markets, and systems is efficient, predictable, and high quality. This includes setting clear standards for prioritization, quality, testability, and actively managing dependencies and risks.
- You work closely with Engineering leadership, UX, Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing to align priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs. You create clarity even in situations with competing goals or limited capacity.
- You maintain a portfolio-level view of the relevant platform and system landscape and ensure that end-to-end customer journeys are optimized rather than individual components in isolation.
- You provide clear, management-ready reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and outcome achievement, enabling informed decision-making at senior leadership level.
- You bring extensive experience in product management within complex, digital or platform-driven environments and have been responsible for multiple products or product teams.
- You are able to define product strategy and ensure it is executed through clear priorities, strong delivery momentum, and measurable impact.
- You have experience leading and developing Product Managers and understand when to coach, challenge, or make decisions yourself.
- You think in terms of customer value, business impact, and outcomes, and naturally use data to inform decisions (e.g. funnel analysis, conversion KPIs, performance metrics).
- You have solid technical understanding and can reason about system landscapes, integrations, and dependencies without being hands-on in development.
- You communicate clearly, structured, and appropriately for different audiences – from product teams to senior stakeholders and executives.
- You are comfortable making decisions, reducing complexity, and creating focus without oversimplifying reality.
