We are looking for an experienced Platform Architect to
design and drive future-oriented platform architectures. In this role, you will
take full ownership of technical solution design, working closely with Software
and Enterprise Architects to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing
platform ecosystems aligned with the organization’s long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design technical solutions for forward-looking platform architectures and align them with Software and Enterprise Architects.
- Develop and document complex technical concepts and architectural blueprints based on modern platform technologies in close collaboration with Solution Architects.
- Take responsibility for the design, development, and operation of innovative, service-oriented platform solutions leveraging cloud technologies and IT security best practices.
- Integrate SaaS solutions into the target platform architecture, ensuring seamless interoperability and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure robust Service Design, aligning architecture with business requirements, SLAs, and operational excellence standards.
- Own Availability Management and Capacity Management, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance optimization of platform services.
- Continuously evaluate technologies and vendors, including monitoring product roadmaps and making strategic selection recommendations.
- Initiate and coordinate security assessments and penetration tests, ensuring compliance with internal and external security standards.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Hands-on expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of system monitoring, logging, and incident management.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Strong analytical mindset and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong communication, presentation skills both in terms of technology and management
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or relevant field
