As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
- You will take responsibility for the implementation, administration, monitoring, and continuous development of IT systems and services in a Windows server environment, ensuring compliance with applicable security policies.
- You will analyze and resolve incidents as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support and ensure stable and reliable operations.
- You will be responsible for smooth system operations as well as correct and efficient licensing within the scope of lifecycle management.
- You will continuously enhance existing systems to sustainably increase security, efficiency, and stability.
- You will manage and oversee external partners and service providers in close coordination with the responsible manager.
- You will contribute to the design and implementation of concepts in the area of server and application operations, taking defined security policies into account.
- You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT and business projects during the implementation, testing, and rollout phases.
- You will advise business departments on projects and changes to IT services, systems, and applications, and analyze and evaluate technical, functional, and process-related requirements, including automation potential.
- You have relevant professional experience operating complex, heterogeneous server infrastructures as well as application servers based on Microsoft Windows Server.
- You have very good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies such as Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policies, and File Services.
- You are confident in using Windows PowerShell and apply it routinely for administration and automation.
- You have basic hands-on experience in operating hybrid infrastructures consisting of on‑premises, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud environments, as well as services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, including their integration.
- You bring experience in working with external service providers and partners and are able to manage them in a structured manner.
- In addition, you work analytically, in a structured and independent way, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
- You impress with strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a high level of responsibility.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
