We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic Analytics Team at DKV Mobility. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and optimizing our cloud-native data landscape while working closely with cross-functional, international stakeholders.
Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate in an Agile, International Team
- Work closely with colleagues from Romania, Germany, and Ukraine
- Design, estimate, develop, and implement software solutions aligned with business needs
- Actively communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders
- Build Scalable Data Solutions
- Develop agnostic data products within a modern, cloud-native data ecosystem
- Support use cases across BI, Advanced Analytics, AI, and ML
- Translate business requirements into robust technical architectures
- Continuously enhance performance, quality, and cost-efficiency of solutions
- Proactively suggest improvements and best practices
- Degree in Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Engineer or Data Engineer, focused on cloud-based architectures
- Strong expertise in: Snowflake and DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Solid knowledge of: SQL and Data lakehouse architectures, Python is nice to have
- Communication is Key
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) — mandatory
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in cross-border, multicultural teams
