Your prospective job:
For our renowned customer in the aerospace industry you are acting as Senior Engineer for Cabin & Cargo (m/f/d) in Oberpfaffenhofen.
Your responsibilities:
- Highly developed technical expertise in cabin interior and cargo
- Owning the technical project development and delivery of solutions to cabin interior
- Achieving market leading cabin innovation
- Meeting challenging weight, cost and reliability targets
- Responsible for cabin interior from concept through to delivery
- Ensuring that requirements of timelines, cabin product and certification are met
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify mitigation plans for impacted projects
- Perform critical path analysis
- Prepare and implement work-around plans to ensure the completion of projects
- Liaise between project management, project teams, and interfacing engineering departments
- Work in close coordination with designers to create best in class cabin to match the next generation state of the art aircraft
- Define, coordinate and prepare cabin specifications
- Perform technical analysis of the shortlisted suppliers and recommend solutions for implementation
- Monitor and report supplier performance
- Perform an overview of the available and soon to be introduced cabin products in the market and shortlist the best possible options for further analyses
- Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare reports
- Maintain the integrated master schedules for the project
- Develop technical solutions to in-service issues for current fleet and design issues for future fleet
Your profile:
- Completed studies in Engineering or comparable
- Many years of professional experience in Aviation
- Extensive experience and knowledge in Cabin Interior
- Experience in Program Management and Aircraft Development Programs
- Familiar with new cabin design concepts/ new trends
- Familiar with regulatory requirements
