As Product Manager, you are responsible for shaping and driving the development of our VAT Refund and Excise Refund product portfolio. You translate customer needs, regulatory developments, and business strategy into clear product roadmaps and ensure our services remain innovative, efficient, and compliant. In this role, you will be part of the Product Management & Key Account Management team and report directly to the Team Manager Product Management & Key Account Management. The position is based in our Bucharest office and works closely with international colleagues within DKV Refund Service and the wider DKV Mobility Group.
Key
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain
the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy for VAT and Excise Refund
services.
•
Identify market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes and translate
them into product opportunities.
•
Align product strategy with business objectives and growth targets.
•
Gather and prioritize business and technical requirements.
•
Work closely with IT and external vendors to deliver product enhancements.
•
Oversee implementation of new features, processes, and system components.
•
Conduct product testing, quality checks, and performance evaluations.
•
Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Compliance, Sales, Finance, and
Key Account Management.
•
Maintain alignment with international product teams within DKV Mobility.
•
Monitor product KPIs and initiate improvements.
•
Identify automation opportunities and optimize workflows.
•
Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
•
Conduct competitive analyses and gather customer feedback.
•
Support creation of product‑related
communication materials.
Required
Qualifications & Experience
•
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Product Management, Tax,
or Technology.
•
3–5 years of experience in Product Management or related fields.
•
Experience in cross-functional and international environments.
•
Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management
skills.
•
Fluent in English; Romanian, Dutch, or German is a plus.
