We offer you numerous opportunities to help shape the mobility of tomorrow in a dynamic and agile environment. Our approximately 2,700 employees throughout Europe are united by a common passion: to give their best every day for our customers in more than 50 countries. True to our claim: You drive, we care. Become part of our diverse, dedicated and unique team!
Do you want to play an active role in driving a company’s growth and turning big plans into reality? Then join our team! You can look forward to exciting challenges, an inspiring environment, and a work culture that combines flexibility and collaboration – with our 60/40 hybrid model and modern offices in Ratingen as a hub for ideas.
As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
- You develop and implement the webshop product strategy (Adobe Commerce) in close alignment with eCommerce and Sales Management, translating strategic goals into value‑driven roadmaps, prioritized epics, and measurable outcomes (conversion, checkout efficiency, growth).
- You act as the central interface between stakeholders (eCommerce, Performance Marketing, and potentially CRM/Operations) and the international development setup.
- You are responsible for the technical and functional scaling of our webshop across currently 22 markets (with further expansion planned), including stable integrations, high‑performance releases, and clear prioritization based on business value, feasibility, and risk.
- From a shop perspective, you own the overview of interfaces and data flows (e.g. order APIs, authentication/identity, validation services, CRM integrations such as Microsoft Dynamics).
- You coordinate dependencies with other teams and product owners and drive a seamless customer journey across digital touchpoints.
- You manage the backlog, prioritize based on value, and translate epics and features into user stories including clear acceptance criteria.
- You ensure Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, orchestrate refinement sessions, manage dependencies and testability, and thereby enable efficient, low‑risk delivery.
- You ensure that requirements contribute directly to customer value, conversion, checkout efficiency, and overall KPI impact.
- You coordinate deliveries with internal and external development teams (without coding yourself) and ensure high implementation quality.
- You support the release and quality concept (regression, functional, end‑to‑end testing) and drive the further development of test automation and stable releases across connected systems.
- You provide management‑level reporting on status, risks, forecasts, and dependencies (e.g. quarterly, depending on governance).
- You systematically identify growth opportunities, collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, bridge technical and business perspectives, and actively contribute to further professionalizing and scaling our webshop.
- You have several years of experience as a Product Owner, (Digital) Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a comparable role within an eCommerce or platform environment.
- You have a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management, and are experienced in translating complex requirements into clear, testable user stories.
- You have a strong interest in technical concepts and are able to understand and structure system landscapes, interfaces, and data flows.
- Ideally, you have experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) or comparable eCommerce platforms.
- Experience working with downstream systems such as CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), identity/authentication, PIM, payment/validation services, or tracking and analytics is a plus.
- You think in terms of customer value, conversion, and KPI impact, and are able to prioritize delivery based on business goals.
- You enjoy working in a data‑informed way (e.g. funnels, conversion, checkout KPIs) and take pleasure in iterative optimization.
- You have very good English skills, enabling daily collaboration with international teams.
- You are highly organized, reliable within sprint cycles, and communicate clearly with developers, architects, marketing, and other stakeholders.
- You enjoy diving into complex topics and acting as a translator between business and technology.
