Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Galley Version Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
Your responsibilities:
- Performing detailed analysis and analytical thinking to support the design and integration of galley and stowage systems
- Developing and managing cabin customization requirements, ensuring seamless integration of galleys and stowage solutions into various aircraft configurations
- Contributing to the design integration process, collaborating with cross-functional teams within the design office and manufacturing & assembly departments
- Conducting data analytics to optimize system performance, identify potential issues, and support decision-making processes
- Leading and participating in project management activities related to galley and stowage monument development, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Ensuring the qualification and certification of all galley and stowage monuments, adhering to stringent aerospace standards and regulations
- Implementing and maintaining robust quality management processes throughout the design and manufacturing phases
- Engaging in effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
Your profile:
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Aircraft Manufacturing, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable
- Work experiecne in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Supplier Management, Aerospace and Project Management
- Knowledge in Catia V5, CCD, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, vpm and Google Workspace
- Experience in Total Quality Management, in the field of civil aviation (CA) documentation and Product Lifecycle
- Knowledge of procedures and processes involved in aircraft modification (FCO) and the procedures and processes involved in cabin integration and module development would be a plus
- Airbus experience desirable
- Fluent English and German skills, both written and spoken
