Your prospective job:

You are acting as an IT Operations Manager for System Engineering (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring a reliable IT platform (elimination of potential vulnerabilities) – civil and military
• Maintaining the infrastructure in an operational condition in accordance with OLA/SLAs
• Monitoring and tracking system performance based on agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
• Communication of improvements, updates, and obsolescence management of products to the IT product manager
• Collaboration with cross-functional services in the digital department (network, hosting, security, etc.)
• Provision of support in accordance with company requirements and use of automated planning and remote monitoring
• Implementation of ITIL-based support processes, including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
• Analyzes console messages, diagnoses system failures, and takes corrective action to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as necessary
• Monitors system backup processing and conducts disaster recovery tests
• Identifies and implements technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the system environment
• Support in the implementation of IT projects to achieve our milestones on schedule

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science or comparable
• Professional work experience in IT / Information Systems
• Good knowledge of IT systems (Linux and Windows)
• Knowledge in the field of Systems Engineering
• Experience in DOORS, CAMEO and 3DEXPERIENCE
• Knowledge of the Airbus context is an advantage
• Good German and fluent English skills, btoh written and spoken
• French is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work
