In this position you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized solutions from the range of DKV services and products, taking into account the competitive environment and DKV's goals, serving as support for the sales team to increase the portfolio of active customers.
Responsibilities:
- Explore fuel (domestic and international) and service markets for road transport fleets, identifying market trends, development potential, and prospects interested in DKV services
- Identify companies with consumption potential compatible with DKV services, conduct systematic outreach, collect relevant information about consumer needs and services related to road transport and at the same time obtain customer commitment for a meeting with DKV sales representatives
- Collaborate with ASM, Regional Sales and Inside Sales colleagues by furnishing them with information about approached prospects interested in DKV products and services, for which successful visit arrangements have been made
- Provides proposals to the direct supervisor regarding necessary actions/tools to facilitate the development of the customer portfolio, their loyalty, and the enhancement of efficiency and profitability in the new customer area
- Identify and acquire new customers, following the stable sales plan, for the websales channel
- Identify customer needs and the potential utilization of DKV services and products for prospects, optimally allocating them to sales channels in accordance with procedures
- Present customers with offers for additional products as well as for those used to increase product utilization within the customer portfolio
- Process customer inquiries and complaints, effectively communicate with support departments to clarify reported situations
- Collaborates with Customer Service and Credit Control departments to serve customers and comply with DKV policies and procedures
- Implement the company's commercial policies to promote and enhance the presence of DKV products/services
- Regularly compile periodic reports on conducted activities, recording essential information such as prospects, opportunities, visits, etc., in the designated information systems
- Serves as a key user for the CRM system, ensuring the updating of workflows and procedures for the inside sales team, providing support for understanding changes and increasing expertise levels
- Responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to line managers and to the departments of the company with which collaborates
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or transportation
- Experience in B2B fuel card sales is an advantage
- Relevant experience in managing a customer portfolio
- Excellent product and service promotion skills to customers
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Customer-oriented individual with a focus on results, with presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Analytical thinking and financial understanding
- English language - intermediate level
- MS Office - intermediate level
