Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Buyer Cabin Floor to Floor (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

Your responsibilities:

• Contribute to procurement activities, manage tenders and contract negotiations to achieve the best purchasing conditions according to company requirements (internal and external)
• Monitor contracts (during the innovation, development, series production, and support phases) with suppliers and company stakeholders to ensure full application of the terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle and ensure that suppliers deliver the expected performance in all

dimensions (logistics, support, quality, costs)

• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and implement projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks
• Contribute to (sub-)multifunctional and multidivisional teams throughout the tender, contract, and contract lifecycle phases
• Lead commercial negotiations for changes to products in the portfolio

Your profile:

• Completed studies in industrial engineering, supply chain/logistics and quality or comparable
• Work experience in purchasing and supply chain
• Professional experience in contract management, operational and strategic procurement
• Knowledge of finance is an advantage
• Good knowledge of project, process, and risk management
• Confident handling of MS-Excel, MS-Word, SAP und Google Workspace
• Fluent Englisch spoken and written
• German is a plus
