The Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH) stands for cutting-edge international research and ground-breaking treatment concepts in psychiatry, psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatics and addiction medicine.

The Department of Public Mental Health currently conducts a series of studies into the ecological translation of evidence-based innovations in public mental health provision. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training programme to promote mental health literacy and is offered by ‘MHFA Ersthelfer’ at the Central Institute of Mental Health. A cluster-randomised controlled trial be conducted to investigate the effectiveness of MHFA training in different educational settings.
The Department of Public Mental Health is looking for a motivated Scientific Employee (50%-100%).

This position will be offered as a replacement for 9 months with a fixed term contract.

Your tasks

  • Carry out data collection at the study centers
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary, international research team that collaborates with clinical services and research departments at CIMH and conducts innovative research in the field of Public Mental Health

Our expectations

  • Excellent Master degree and a PhD in psychology, mental health services research, implementation science, public health or epidemiology or another, related field of medicine, the social or health/life sciences
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Expertise and interest in research in public mental health, mental health services research, epidemiology, public health and ecological momentary assessment/intervention
  • Very good German and English language skills
