The main purpose of the Transition, Mobilization, and Operational Excellence Lead role is to ensure the smooth transition of services into the Shared Service Center (SSC) and to implement Operational Excellence principles effectively. This involves overseeing planning, coordination, and execution activities to optimize overall efficiency and performance within the organization.
Responsabilities:
Transition Management:
Plan and coordinate resources effectively to ensure the seamless transition of services in the SSC
Establish and maintain strong links with local teams to comprehensively understand the scope of work to be transferred, involving all relevant departments, such as local department, HR, IT etc.
Collaborate closely with local teams to ensure proper planning and execution, minimizing disruptions during the transition process
Operational Excellence Implementation:
Work collaboratively with SSC teams to instill Operational Excellence Principles, including, but not limited to: reporting mechanisms, process streamlining, waste elimination and adherence to SSC standards
Facilitate the adoption of best practices to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness within the SSC
KPI
Improvement:
Collaborate with SSC teams to assess and improve existing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Identify opportunities to introduce new KPIs where applicable, aligning them with organizational objectives and strategies
Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless reporting on established KPIs
Process optimization:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of current processes within the SSC
Work collaboratively with SSC and Center teams to map processes in Signavio and aim to increase the maturity of the process up to at least level 4, according to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) framework.
Propose and implement process improvements, leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of operational processes
Stakeholder engagement:
Engage with various stakeholders, including local teams, IT, HR and technical teams, to foster collaboration and ensure a unified approach to operational excellence
Communicate effectively to all relevant parties, providing information on transition progress, operational enhancements and KPI achievements
University
Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience, out of which at least 3 in
Management positions or Process design
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
ABILITIES
English
– Advanced, other European language is a plus
Proven
experience in transition management, operational excellence and process
improvement within a shared service environment
Strong
project management skills with a track record of successful transitions
and process optimizations
In
depth knowledge or Operational Excellence principles and methodologies
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across diverse teams
Analytical
mindset with the ability to assess complex processes and identify areas
for improvement
Familiarity
with key performance indicators and reporting systems
