We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our team. The role involves managing treasury operations, customer accounting, general ledger activities, and tax-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities
Treasury
- Record bank statements from POS transactions, ensuring alignment with supporting documents.
- Re-evaluate foreign currency balances and propose adjustments when necessary.
- Record accounting documents related to cash register operations, following internal procedures.
Customer Accounting
- Verify and reconcile customer balances and established guarantees, reporting any discrepancies.
- Process and analyze files related to outstanding receivables (bad debts) for reporting.
- Generate, send, and confirm customer account statements.
- Issue advance invoices at month-end, based on contracts and received requests.
General Accounting and Taxes
- Verify and record expense reports, ensuring required approvals are obtained per internal procedures.
- Review accounting entries related to VAT and excise reimbursements.
- Archive and save processed accounting documents.
General
- Serve as backup for other team members.
- Participate in internal and external financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Prepare and deliver ad hoc reports and analyses requested by the manager
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Familiarity with banking operations, treasury, and bank reconciliation.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organization, planning, and time management abilities.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a similar role.
- English language – at least intermediate level.
- MS Office – intermediate level.
