• Report to Manager Manufacturing Engineering, Stamping
• Does not manage people
• Acts based on directions by the manager and undertakes actions for process improvement in new product introduction
• Responsible for executing the job with focus on cost, quality and timing
• Builds and maintains an attitude of team player to fellow positions to attached and interacting organizations
• Act in accordance with environmental, health and safety regulations
• Act in accordance with compliance and security regulations
• Determine feasibility for Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs) and determine time and cost to implement.
• Work with CAD Tech Lead, ECO/Machining Lead, and Toolmakers to develop modification plans for stamping dies to implement quality improvements, new build die design, ECOs and other modifications and/or repairs.

• Bachelor / Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The equivalent in experience is also acceptable with evidence of exceptional ability
• Previous experience in working in and acting with multiple groups of professionals
• Previous experience in automotive stamping/ die manufacturing
• Solidly organized, with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodology
• Able to work under intense time pressure in the presence others
• Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio / Project, Jira, Confluence
• Travel is included, including some internationally may be required from time to time
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in German and/or English language skills
• Experience in CNC programing and surface reverse engineering is a plus
