Your prospective job:

You will be working for our client Airbus Operations at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site as Logistics Manager MDU/ODU (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• Responsable for design and provide the right amount of material delivery units (MDUs) and overseas delivery units (ODUs) to secure the material availability at station in Hamburg, Bremen, Mobile and Tianjin
• Enable the ramp-up by planning and sourcing needed MDU/ ODU capacities
• Act as focal point for MDU/ ODU relevant initiatives in strong coordination with operational logistics and project teams
• Develop and implement improvements and modifications of MDUs/ ODUs and ensure constant alignment with our stakeholders
• Act as a focal point for MDU repair management and monitor Logistic Service Provider (LSP) or Packaging Service Provider (PSP) maintenance
• Enable projects by developing and implementing new delivery and transport solutions
• Be the interface to General Procurement and actively support the Call-for-Tender process for the planning and sourcing of MDUs/ ODUs

Your profile:

• Completed studies in civil engineering, engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in manufacturing / production, supplier management, project management and supply chain / logistics
• Good knowledge of process management
• Knowledge of Google Workspace
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Driving license class B/3
