- You are responsible for the design and implementation of our automated integration test landscape and bring it to life.
- You standardize our QA process and coordinate with cross-functional teams to put this standardization into practice.
- You create and implement reusable test components that can be utilized across our application landscape.
- As a test evangelist, you establish best practices and processes to elevate our quality to a new level.
- You apply your software engineering skills in Scrum teams.
- You implement quality assurance processes in an agile environment, understand the requirements for process flows from triage to test design, test planning, and execution, and communicate the results and impact to the team and other departments.
- You work closely with other development teams, leverage best practices, and continuously strive to improve our QA standards.
- You bring relevant experience as a developer or QA engineer with a focus on writing automated integration tests.
- You are able to identify integration scenarios, write automated integration unit tests, and integrate them into a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- You have experience or knowledge in defining testing strategies (TDD, BDD, risk-based testing).
- Additionally, you possess know-how in implementing load testing scenarios and have used tools such as WebLOAD and JMeter. You are familiar with acceptance testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Ranorex, Cucumber, Cypress) and development-related testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Arquillian).
- You have experience in Java and TypeScript, know common pitfalls, and are able to identify them with your automated tests. Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a feel for the individual needs of our customers.
