What you can expect

You are responsible for the conception, setup, and operation of cloud-based services using modern container, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.
You work with Azure Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Kafka, Grafana, Instana, API Gateway, OPA Gatekeeper, Keycloak, and cloud-native Postgres databases, and use various (security) tools to scan our code.
Additionally, you integrate new technologies and products into the DKV cloud infrastructure and ensure their functional integration.
You develop additional software components and integration systems using agile methodologies.
In doing so, you create functional and technical requirement descriptions and collaborate closely with your team.
You ensure the stable operation of our cloud infrastructure, continuously focusing on scalability, maintainability, stability, and security of our services.
Furthermore, you monitor the productive processes and services of our cloud infrastructure and ensure their recovery in case of failure.
You support and train the software development teams, continuously optimize existing solutions, and evaluate new technologies.

What makes you stand out

You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
You have relevant professional experience in cloud engineering, particularly with a focus on Kafka and Kubernetes.
Relevant professional certifications in cloud technology or architecture are a plus.
You are a talented communicator and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
Your fluent German skills are complemented by very good English skills.
