• Modeling of HVDC systems, control development, and control parameterization in MATLAB/Simulink
• Modeling of HVDC systems and integration of the control system in the PSCAD simulation software
• Performance of time-domain simulations and customer documentation of the results

• Master of Engineering in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (Electrical and Control Engineering) with a specialization in power engineering or comparable professional experience.
• Sound knowledge of power electronics and modeling of converters (HVDC, WTG, etc.) and their control, particularly in the area of voltage-generating control concepts.
• Intercultural experience and the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners are desirable.
• Knowledge of the simulation programs MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or Powerfactory Digsilent, as well as experience in modeling.
• Knowledge of grid calculations for energy supply networks, e.g., stability analyses and reactive power demand, is an advantage.
• Profound knowledge of English
