We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at DKV Mobility Romania.
As a key member of our agile development team, you will collaborate with professionals from Romania, Germany, and Ukraine to design, estimate, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions.

Your Role:
- Work collaboratively within an agile development team spread across multiple countries.
- Design, estimate, develop, and implement software solutions for a Java-based product on Azure cloud.
- Collaborate closely with the team on web front ends, back end APIs, and standalone microservices.
- Contribute to the Customer Product Services organization, focused on delivering high-quality software services for DKV customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and operate applications for DKV products.
- Develop Java applications and microservices in cloud environments.
- Ensure applications are portable to various infrastructures, with a primary focus on cloud environments.
- Contribute to the conception and architecture using current Java, JavaScript, and cloud technologies.
- Work as part of a scrum team and contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement deployment scripts for containerized environments.
- Support in creating end-to-end solution architectures.
Your Expertise:
- Several years of strong Java knowledge, including in-depth understanding of the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Proficient in creating REST APIs and microservices.
- Confident in working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience in writing automated unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Loki and Grafana.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Apache Kafka.
- Strong communicative and team-oriented personality.
- Structured approach, ability to keep an overview, set priorities, and be reliable.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented focus.
- Quick on the uptake and able to break down complex issues into small work packages.
