We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts Receivable Team Manager to lead our AR operations with precision and impact. In this role, you’ll oversee the full receivables cycle—from invoicing and collections to reconciliations and reporting—while managing a high-performing team. You’ll play a key role in driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance customer account handling and reduce risk.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the AR team (from Junior to Senior levels)
- Oversee daily AR operations, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Manage security deposit settlements and SEPA direct debits
- Supervise the dunning process and escalation handling
- Monitor and approve protest fee entries and ensure accurate invoicing records
- Coordinate customer balance confirmations and support audits
- Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Act as the main point of contact for escalations and cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Customer Service, Credit Management)
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and cash forecasts for senior leadership
- Allocate tasks and manage workload distribution to meet SLAs
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and collaboration
- Analyze AR aging and collection trends to reduce DSO and bad debt risk
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of AR processes, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and reporting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English; German is a plus
- In-depth understanding of credit risk management and financial reporting
- Experience in shared services or multinational environments
