• Develop clean, readable, and well-structured PLC software using B&R Automation Studio
• Analyze technical requirements and design robust automation solutions for complex control systems
• Create software documentation and execute comprehensive testing and verification activities
• Take technical ownership of automation projects, coordinate tasks, and support successful project delivery
• Mentor and guide junior PLC programmers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing
• Act as Scrum Master when required to ensure team alignment, collaboration, and efficient delivery
• Apply and promote IEC 62304 software development processes throughout requirements, specification, implementation, and verification phases
• Collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Manage requirements, specifications, and test activities in codeBeamer while ensuring full traceability and compliance
• Establish and maintain Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated PLC software testing using Python and C#

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Extensive hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and control system development
• Proven expertise in B&R Automation Studio, PLC software development, and deployment in industrial environments
• Strong programming skills in Structured Text (ST), object-oriented programming, Python, and C#
• Experience with real-time PLC applications, fieldbus technologies, and industrial communication systems
• Hands-on experience with Git, version control best practices, and CI/CD-based software development workflows
• Ability to work as a subject matter expert within Agile development teams and take ownership of complex technical challenges
• Knowledge of software development in regulated environments, ideally within the medical device or healthcare industry
• Experience with IEC 62304, codeBeamer, requirements management, test management, and traceability processes is advantageous
• Excellent English communication skills, willingness to work on-site, and German language skills as a strong asset
