Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Operations you are acting as an A320 Configuration Management Product Change Leader (m/f/d) at the location Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct and coordinate Configuration Management (CM) activities and are accountable for CM processes deliverables (change, product structure update, etc...)
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams such as programmes, engineering, quality, manufacturing, customer services
• Ensure the configuration control of the A320 Family Programme in coordination with transnational stakeholders and functional/local CM areas and operate effective Configuration Control Boards (CCB)
• Act as project leader, therefore accountable for time, costs and quality deliverables, in-line with the orientations decided during the CCB
• Ensure that the CRs are decided in time, costs and quality, in-line with the Programme CM constraints and objectives
• Provide meaningful KPI in order to support business and strategy
• Provide CM expertise and ensure the application of CM concept, (sub-) processes, and procedures and manage the interface between Central Program CM and other functional project stakeholders such as Engineering, Procurement, FAL, Plants, Customer Services
• Support and represent the configuration management functions on internal and external projects such as digitalization/transformation projects and long-term development initiatives

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Aircraft Construction, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Studies or a comparable qualification
• Several years of work experience in Configuration Management
• Strong understanding of CMPM processes is mandatory
• Good knowledge of Change Management and Project Management
• Knowledge of Risk Management and Total Quality Management
• Knowledge of ICC
• Experience with the DQN-needs-MOD process and CA-reallocation process is a plus
• Practical experience with Data Management and AI tools is a plus
• PM certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Google Workspace
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
• Good German skills
• Spanish/French skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel on an irregular basis (1–2 times per year within Europe)
