Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Simulator Integration & Verification Engineer for PSTS (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Provision and documentation of the system test definition for the relevant HW/SW Simulation Items,mainly related to P3E (Phase 3 Evolution) project
• Support installation and maintenance of all PSTS (Pilot Synthetic Training System) training devices
• Generation of test stories/test cases for several training devices, for P3E project, taking into account L1 Requirements
• Perform Level 1 requirement verification based on the written test stories
• Implementation and test of design changes as result of hardware modifications
• Performance of HW/SW System tests and documentation of test results
• Support acceptance tests and qualification activities with services and the final customer
• Ensure that technical and design issues for the Simulation Item are resolved
• Report status information to the Integration Manager and Chief Engineer

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable
• Work experience in the field of Engineering and IT/Information Systems
• Knowledge about Testing activities, requirements traceability and of system integration processes
• Advanced experience in MS-Office
• Knowledge of Requirement Management Tools (DOORS) is an asset
• Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (C, C++, Python, Perl, ADA, Windows, Linux ) is a plus
• Expertise in Eurofighter Simulation and Verification process is a very good asset
• Fluent English skills
• Additional languages are an advantage
