As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
- You own the end-to-end delivery and operation of the platform across Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory
- You define the architecture, standards, and lifecycle models for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- You take ownership of reliability engineering, observability strategy, and incident and change management across the platform
- You drive performance, scalability, and cost transparency, continuously improving efficiency and unit economics
- You define and enforce platform-wide standards for environments, networking, identity, secrets, deployment, and rollback processes
- You create reusable patterns, “golden paths,” and abstractions and ensure their adoption across the organization
- You have strong experience designing, operating, and evolving production-grade, mission-critical cloud platforms on Azure
- You have deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including structuring, governing, and maintaining large-scale IaC codebases
- You bring hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation engineering at platform scale, ideally including Snowflake, dbt, and Databricks
- You have solid expertise in observability, incident management, SLOs, and reliability engineering, with a strong focus on operational excellence
- You have strong knowledge of cloud networking, including private networking, DNS, cloud-to-on-prem connectivity, and ideally cost management / FinOps
- You communicate clearly and precisely in English (C1+), bring a strong ownership mindset, and German language skills are a plus
